Many of these jokes have a particular topical context, although you should be
able to figure out most of them. They might not be as funny today as they were
back when they were published at exactly the right time.
This collection has a special chapter devoted to nothing
but Gulf War jokes. By far, most of the topical jokes in 1991
revolved around the war.
