A Netfriend moved to Microsoft from Another Company about a year ago. This weekend, he showed after a long silence & I kidded him about the stability of this job, as in the interim, Another Company has hit the skids & gone Chap. 11. Netfriend replied with a C.V. of other past employers who had ALSO suffered hard times since he had left them. His close was "If I leave, short Microsoft stock fast ;-\}".... I related this to a different friend, one of the Notable People of Unix and the Net. Within minutes, his comment was: "Can we convince him to quit?"
