Not to be outdone by the "Add one to COBOL" crowd, APL aficionados have announced their latest development, to be known as "+/1 APL". BASIC boosters followed suit with "LET BASIC = BASIC + 1". Pascal purists where heard dejectedly muttering, "Ah, if only we hadn't declared our language const...."
