I'm not making this up. According to news reports, while having breakfast at a restaurant in the Carolinas during his current campaign swing, George Bush attempted to tell a non-political joke. It was: "A duck walks into a bar. The bartender says 'Hey, your pants are down'" After a noticible pause, Bush had to explain that the joke involved confusion between two meanings of the word "down". Based on this, I assume stand-up and moderator of r.h.f. will not be post-Presidential career options. tyg tyg@hq.ileaf.com
