In the 7 May 2005 issue of New Scientist (London) appears this correction: 

  "Our feature on cloud seeding (16 Apr, p40) should have started 
  with the words 'Cannons blazed'.  No clergy were set on fire in 
  China's rainmaking experiment."

But I still want to know about that breeding program for lamas ...
