In a pinch, the inside of a completely soaked motorcycle helmet can be dried overnight by stuffing it with the (functioning) power supplies of a laptop and 2 external USB2 hard drives. It is recommended that the visor be left open when you go to dinner, lest when you return you will discover that the unit resembles a steam sauna for small rodents.
