Billy Joel tells this true story. Billy and his friend and drummer Liberty DeVito are backstage after a Paul McCartney concert. They're hungry, and their search for food is only resulting in trays of raw vegetables. They bump into Paul, and the following converation ensued. Billy: Great show Paul. Paul (in the famous Liverpool accent): Thanks Billy. Have a bite. Billy: Thanks, we're REALLY hungry. Do you have anything besides vegetables, like some shrimp? Paul: No Billy, you know I don't eat anything that has a face! Liberty: Poor Linda.
