Heard way back in the late 1940's. A popular place to fish nearby is a bridge across a salt water river. Frequently folks would change from one side of the bridge to another. One of these was an obviously pregnant lady who simply stepped of the curb right in the path of a pickup truck. Fortunately, the driver was able to stop in time. He yelled out the window, "You could get knocked down, too!"
