Heard at a lecture in my network programming class: [On an off the topic discussion, someone proposed to teach gorillas and chimps to type, in an attempt to break the communications barrier. The professor's reply went something like this:] Well it wouldn't be a first by any means. Animals of the wild have been on the net since it's very inception. How do you think the TCP/IP standard came about? You think a bunch of geeks at ARPA designed it?
