My girlfriend pointed out to me the other day as we were walking downtown that she misses the old "WALK/DON'T WALK" signs that have been replaced over the last few years with symbols of a figure walking (for walk) or an red extended hand (for stop). I figure if we change back to the old signs, the nation's illiteracy problem will take care of itself... :)
