My niece is about to return to her home in North Carolina, after several years in the Boston area.
When we were having dinner yesterday, I asked her for her impressions of our area and its people.
"The people are OK," she said, "but unless you start a conversation with the weather, traffic, or the Red Sox, they look at you as if you had two heads!"
