A master was explaining the nature of Dow to a novice. "The Dow is in all software, no matter how small or insignificant." The novice said, "Is the Dow in the handheld calculator?" "It is.", came the reply. The novice said, "Is the Dow even in the video game?" The master said, "The Dow is even in the video game." The novice then asked, "And is the Dow in the Windows for a personal computer?" The master shifted slightly. "Please excuse me. I need to place a sell order." [Adapted from Geoff James]
