These shots come from my Utah-Colorado trip and some from my Lake Powell & Monument Valley trip.

This is a simple shot, hand-held, taken on my rental boat on Lake Powell. All of the lake is surrounded by beautiful formations like this. They call it the Grand Canyon with Water.

Another sunset view of Lake Powell, from up the road from the marina. Not nearly as sweeping as the high view, nor as good a sunset.

Painted Desert National Park. I remember when I came here in 1981 I thought it was pretty amazing. Later, after I explored Utah it seemed less exciting.

An interesting vertical panorama with 24mm lens of Glen Canyon Dam. Taken from the visitor center, which is a very short distance from the dam.

A sunset at Bright Angel point on the north rim of the Grand Canyon.

A strange 360 degree view (on a dreary day) from the Navajo Bridge over the Colorado river. This bridge is one of the oldest, and the modern bridge is next to it. It is from near hear that the multi-week rafting trips leave.
